Dutch police use hologram in bid to solve cold case murder of Amsterdam sex worker

This is indeed a significant development by Dutch enforcement. The Amsterdam police have started using innovative technology such as holograms to help solve cold cases, which are crimes that have remained unsolved for many years. The hologram project in question was launched as a new attempt to solve the almost 30-year-old murder case of Monique Roossien, a sex worker in the city.

This holographic experiment is designed to improve the visibility of this specific cold case to the public and hopefully stimulate witnesses to come forward or some relevant information to resurface. The hologram was projected near the murder scene, recreating an image of Monique Roossien. This use of technology highlights the extents the Dutch police are prepared to go in order to solve serious cold cases like this one.
